Terms of Service for UEH Single Sign-On (SSO)

1. Introduction

Welcome to the UEH Single Sign-On (SSO) system operated by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the UEH SSO authentication platform. By accessing or using this service, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the service.

2. Purpose and Scope

The UEH SSO system provides a unified authentication platform for UEH students, lecturers, and staff to access internal systems such as LMS, E-Office, Email, and other UEH applications using their official UEH account or verified Google Workspace identity. The service is intended solely for authorized UEH members.

3. Acceptable Use

• You agree to use the UEH SSO service only for lawful academic and administrative purposes.
• You must not attempt to access systems or data for which you are not authorized.
• Sharing your account credentials or impersonating another user is strictly prohibited.
• Any misuse or attempt to compromise system security may result in account suspension, disciplinary action, or legal consequences under UEH’s IT policy and Vietnamese law.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and related materials of the UEH SSO service are owned or licensed by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or redistribution is prohibited.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The UEH SSO service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While UEH strives to maintain service reliability, we make no warranties or representations regarding uninterrupted access or the absence of errors. UEH shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use this service.

6. Data Privacy and Security

The service uses Google’s OAuth 2.0 mechanism for authentication. Personal data (such as your UEH email and name) is used solely for verifying your identity and granting access to UEH’s internal systems. We do not collect or share personal information beyond authentication purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Cookies

The UEH SSO website may use session cookies to maintain your login state. These cookies are temporary and automatically expire when you close your browser. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

8. Modification of Terms

UEH reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the service will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
